After you developed the army at blacksmith and armoury, you could destroy them because the bonus will remain. In this way you will produce more crop.

Develop in at least 4-5 villages the barracks to level 20 and the defense troops in armoury at level 20.

Develop tournament square in offense and defense villages because troops will arrive quickly to the destination.

Do not make a offense army in many villages because you do not need. Some players can make 2 attack armies if they are very offensive players.
